About Jenny’s Hope in Grief
At Jenny’s Hope in Grief, everything we do begins with a single, powerful truth:
Grief doesn’t need to be fixed — it needs to be honored.
This work began in the quiet aftermath of tragedy — in school hallways heavy with silence, in the eyes of children trying to make sense of loss, in the voices of educators and administrators who had no words but still showed up. Jenny’s Hope in Grief was born to give those moments shape, support, and structure.
Our Origin
Jenny’s Hope in Grief is named in loving memory of Jennifer (Jenny) Ross Bizaillion (1978–2010) — a radiant soul who loved children deeply and ferociously pursued hope, even in the darkest circumstances. Jenny’s heart beat for those in pain, especially young people. This work is her legacy — a continuation of her compassion and courage.
Our curriculum began as a response to tragedy in schools. When a student or staff member dies, school leaders often find themselves frozen, overwhelmed, and unprepared. Jenny’s Hope provides the step-by-step support they need — not only in the moment of crisis, but in building the emotional resilience to carry forward.
We developed a grief response notebook for school administrators and counselors, filled with real-world experience, scripts, and tools. We hope you never need it. But if you do, it will be there — clear, kind, and practical — to help you find your way through.
Our Mission
Jenny’s Hope in Grief is a professional development and training center specializing in grief counseling education for schools, nonprofits, government agencies, law enforcement, first responders, and businesses.
We equip professionals with the tools and knowledge to support individuals experiencing grief, fostering emotionally resilient environments in classrooms, workplaces, and communities.
Because when grief is met with confidence and compassion, healing becomes possible.
Our Vision
To normalize grief education across all sectors and ensure that every grieving person — whether a student, employee, or community member — has access to a compassionate, informed supporter.
We envision a world where the silence surrounding grief is replaced with skill, structure, and support.

A Message to School Leaders
We are giving you something we hope you never need.
But if that day comes — when the news of a death reaches your campus — we know what it’s like for your brain to freeze, for your team to go silent, for grief to spread across a school building.
You are not alone.
We’ve walked with many schools through tragedy. And what we’ve learned is now yours — in the form of practical tools, compassionate scripts, and professional guidance.
Grief will always be part of our world. But it does not have to be part of your work you walk through unprepared. With the right support, your team can become a source of hope — for students, for staff, and for one another.
Because while grief is individual, we grieve best when we grieve in safe connection.
