“The most helpful thing you can do is not to take the grief away, but to walk alongside someone through it.”

Jenny’s Hope in Grief is a nonprofit training center dedicated to advancing grief literacy across schools, nonprofits, government agencies, first responders, and workplaces. We believe grief is not a problem to solve — it’s a human experience to meet with skill and empathy.

Through in-person and virtual training programs, we help professionals feel prepared to support those experiencing loss, whether in a classroom, counseling session, crisis call, or team meeting. Our mission is to foster emotionally resilient environments where people are seen, supported, and understood — even on their hardest days.

Named in memory of Jenny and inspired by the healing power of presence, Jenny’s Hope in Grief exists to turn silence into support, and uncertainty into informed compassion.
